I’m going to get a camera…
Posted in Mom Life, Random Nonsense on 03/22/2008 12:24 pm by torione of them SLRs. Well, not right now, but someday. I love taking pictures, I always have. My first “real” picture experience took place when I was six, and we went to Disney World and SeaWorld. I had a 110 camera of my very own to use. Remember those? Not as cool as those disc film cameras but I did like the fact that you didn’t have to know how to “load” film to use it.
I got to take black and white pictures too… I’m not sure why, but my dad, a much more than amateur photographer, thought that it was a better experience for me.
I remember waiting to get those pictures developed. And seeing blurry pictures of Shamu that I took myself just rocked.
Now I need to move on up. I love pics, had a “real” SLR for years, but now have been digital point-and-shooting for quite a while. I NEED MORE. But not too much more… say less than $500 more?
I think I’m going to get the Canon Digital Rebel XT with a basic lens kit. A starter SLR. And then you can look forward to close-ups of Julia’s tongue.
